Signs of life from Gasoline Queen

Gasoline Queen 2010Hi everyone!

It’s been a while since we showed you some signs of life from the Camp of Gasoline Queen. We have spent months in a cave just to be away from the scenes and we have now finally taking our shits together, preparing for the upcoming events this year. There is some new stuff on its way as well as some new haircuts that we hopefully will release and act this year.

Without lifting a finger we already have three gigs booked and the major of them all is Rockweekend 8-9-10 July at Mohed which is a stone’s throw from our home ground Söderhamn. In waiting, we have two gigs previous to Rockweekend and the earliest one is at Maxim in GĂ€vle 13 March along with Electric Boys and the other one is at Crazy Nights Rockfest in Alvik 10 April.

We look forward to this season of mad events and optimistically there will be more frequent updates at this site as well at our Myspace.

“A good healthy dose of kick ass Hard Rock”

Review of Gas for the underclass

We have received a review of our last EP “Gas for the Underclass” from the reviewer Nikk Gunns at the webzine Get ready to rock. You can read it here below.

Gasoline Queen “Gas For The Underclass” (www.gasolinequeen.com)

Gasoline Queen are another great Swedish band that play loud, dirty, energetic, powerful, sleazy rock n’ roll- and very good at it they are too.

“Gas For The Underclass” is a 4-track EP that does a good job of selling the band, and should win them a number of new fans. Taking inspiration from both ‘70’s bigger rock acts and the sleaze of ‘80’s LA, the band sound like they could be an explosive live act and nowadays, that is what counts. Great vocals, solid guitars and rhythm section – combined with well crafted songs, catchy choruses and a sound that draws you in – this EP is a great taster of more to come from Gasoline Queen.
